The SEO Sandwich process

How it works

SEO content writing, layered properly. We build the structure, your team adds the expertise, and we optimise the final piece before it goes live.

01

SEO Structure

We do the SEO research and lay the foundation.

We research the topic, study how people actually search for it, and map out the content. You get an outline with headings, sub-headings, target keywords, and clear direction on what each section should cover. The structure is search-friendly from the start, with no retrofitting SEO at the end.

02

Expert Filling

Your team adds what only you can add.

This is the layer that makes the content actually yours. Product knowledge, brand voice, customer examples, internal expertise, opinions, case stories. Either your team writes the draft against our outline, or we write a first draft and your team reviews and adds expertise. Both work.

03

SEO Optimisation

We polish the final content for search and readers.

Once the expert content is in, we polish it: improve flow, tighten headings, add the meta title and description, structure internal links to your existing pages, and check it against the original SEO brief. The result is content that reads well and ranks well.

04

Go Live

Publish-ready content, served.

You receive a finalised piece through our content editor with metadata, internal links, and schema recommendations already in place. Review, request changes, approve, and publish.

Two ways to work with us

Either we write it, or you do

The SEO Sandwich process works the same either way. Only who adds the filling changes.

We write the draft

Best when your team has the knowledge but not the time to write.

  • We supply the outline AND the first draft
  • You review, add expert touches, request changes
  • We finalise and optimise

Your team writes the draft

Best when your team has strong subject-matter experts who can write.

  • We supply the SEO outline + direction
  • Your team writes the expert content
  • We polish and optimise for search
Two formats to choose from

Blog posts or a content silo?

From Classic Sandwich up, you choose how your words are spent. Same price, different SEO play.

Blog posts

Best when you have multiple unrelated topics to cover, or just need volume on the blog.

  • Each post stands alone
  • Easier to slot into existing content plans
  • Good for long-tail keyword coverage

Every supporting page links to the pillar. The pillar links out to every supporter. Google reads it as one topic cluster. Word counts and cluster shape are scoped to your topic and competition, not a fixed template.

Free silo blueprint generator

Build your silo, instantly

Type your main service and city. We will generate a real pillar + 6 supporters blueprint, on screen, in under a second. Or pick a pre-built industry below.

Or jump to a pre-built example:

Heads-up: these are illustrative examples. Real silos are scoped to your specific keywords, competitors, and goals. Copying a structure from a different industry will not rank you. Every silo we build is researched and shaped from scratch around your business.
Pillar page

Family Lawyers

The head-term page. Ranks for the main service query and routes traffic to every supporter.

Same pillar-plus-cluster structure every time. Different industry, different keywords, same SEO logic.

Industries we work with

Family lawyers · Plumbers and trades · Office catering · Commercial cleaning · Real estate · Healthcare and allied health · Accounting and bookkeeping · Ecommerce · SaaS and B2B technology · Education and training · Professional services

If your industry is not on this list, we have probably worked in something similar. Ask us.
